Are you currently hiring music teachers?
Yes! Whether you are looking for violin teacher jobs, guitar teacher jobs, piano teacher jobs, or voice teacher jobs, we would love to hear from you.
What are the requirements for teaching at your school?
Applicants must hold a college degree in music or be currently pursuing a music major, with qualifications in music and/or pedagogy, and possess at least one year of teaching experience. A winning personality is a must in order to inspire your students, and of course you must also love working with children! You must also be punctual, professional, and willing to dress up for special occasions. All applicants must be able to pass a background check as well.
As a music teacher, what will be expected of me?
You must give students your full and undivided attention, with as few interruptions as possible. We have full time front office staff to handle the day-to-day operations such as scheduling so you can focus on music. Working with parents to meet their goals is a must; they may even sit in on their child’s lesson from time to time. We also may also ask you to support your students by attending recitals, competitions and recordings.
How does your school handle scheduling?
Whether you would like to teach part-time or full-time, we have a team of front office professionals who will work with you to set a mutually beneficial schedule. Lessons are held between 9am and 8pm, six days a week, and you can check your schedule anytime from your phone or computer through our online management system.
Do you offer consistent employment year-round?
Yes, we keep busy throughout the year. We take part in competitions and national programs on a regular basis, so you will have plenty of opportunities to showcase your students’ achievements. Summertime brings an increase in competition activity, so you can expect those months to be a bit busier than usual, and of course our grand annual recital takes place near the end of the year, normally coinciding with Halloween or Christmas.
Will I still get paid of my students misses their lesson?
Absolutely! You will never be penalized for events beyond your control. We’ve been in business for nearly 30 years, so we have a well-established system for providing substitute teachers and make-up lessons.
